Richard Knox Leicestershire County Council Heritage Development Officer gives a talk on the history and architecture of Donington le Heath Manor House, a medieval gem on the outskirts of Coalville. The only medieval manor House in the County open to the public.

Hyde Park On Hudson ... At The Century Theatre

The story of the love affair between President Roosevelt and his distant cousin Margaret "Daisy" Suckley, centered around the weekend in 1939 when the King and Queen of the United Kingdom visited upstate New York.

A light-hearted historical comedy, starring Bill Murray, Laura Linney and Samuel West.

Festival of Archaeology Preview Event, with Treasure Talk

Saturday 22nd June 12:00 am.

This summer's Archaeology Festival kicks off with a special preview at Snibston, featuring historical re-enactors, meet the experts tour and local heritage group stalls.

Snibston also welcomes Dr Kevin Leahy for an illustrated evening lecture on Anglo Saxon treasures and hoards.
